Last night, Joy raided our recycle bin to make a cardboard playground for her hamster Doc. It was pretty elaborate, with multiple entries and corridors for him to explore. His reaction was hard to read. It might have been, "Ooo, nifty!" but it could also have been, "Um, OK, now please feed me."
This morning, Joy entertained her siblings with a story she wrote about the Arch-Illager from the game Minecraft Dungeons. He's given up his quest for world domination, and is trying to adjust to life in the private sector. He's off to a rocky start, but I'm sure things will work out for him in the end.
In other news, a friend recently gifted me the granddaddy of butternut squashes from her relative's garden . . .
. . . and Anna and I think it's fun that her new sweater matches mine.
Last but not least, do you notice anything different about Todd? He lost a tooth! And he has a rubber band on his face . :P
