Joy's New Sibling Will Be . . .
Phillip and Joy joined me for the big ultrasound today, and we learned that Joy will be getting a little brother in February. It actually wasn't much of a surprise--Phillip and I both had a feeling beforehand that this baby was going to be a boy. And no, we haven't picked out a name yet, though "Hezekiah" would provide nice alliteration with his surname. :)

We weren't surprised either to find out Sarah was a girl, since we had that feeling where you just know. Isn't it interesting how we can feel these little spirits even before we can see or touch them? They truly are little miracles.
Congratulations! We look forward to meeting both your little ones next summer at the reunion.

I'm not sure what to do with a little boy, either. Of course, when Joy arrived I wasn't really sure what to do with a baby of ANY variety, but I learned as I went and I'm sure that will happen this time, too.
At least, that's what I keep telling myself . . . :)
Congratulations! Boys are awesome and so much fun...glad you have some serious intuition. Every time I thought I was having one sex, it always turned out to be the opposite. :)
My mom guessed wrong every time, too. And since those were the days before ultrasounds, when she went into labor with me she was still planning to name me Christopher. :)

boys are fun ... just completely different than girls (or so i am told, i'll find out as soon as finley decides to wake up). they are wild and crazy and active. they eat dirt, etc. it's lots of fun!
