Fair (Cold) Weather Tree Shopping

'Tis the season . . .

. . . to put on our warm coats and shop for a Christmas tree!

Our younger kids spent most of the time chasing each other along the aisles of trees . . .

. . . while Joy helped Phillip and me look for just the right Christmas tree.  She spied a great one near the front of the lot, so we took it home . . .

. . . and discovered we'd only bought half the lights we needed.  Good thing we figured that out fifteen minutes before Target was due to close.  We considered waiting until morning to get more lights, but we want to decorate our tree after breakfast and . . . it's supposed to snow tomorrow!  We didn't want to be spinning donuts on the freeway on our way to get more lights tomorrow, so Phillip braved the cold to buy some more tonight.  You're my hero, Honey.
