We had another coop-building party at our house today.
I guess I call it a "party" so I feel less sheepish
about inviting my friends to come spend hours
laboring to support my new hobby.
I don't have the carpentry skills to help much,
but I did provide donuts and part of lunch.
Most of the kids spent the afternoon playing games inside . . .
. . . except Joy, who worked with a classmate
building a mini ballista (Roman projectile launcher) . . .
. . . to launch jumbo marshmallows in her Latin class.
She says they don't learn much about speaking Latin in that class,
but they certainly get some interesting assignments.
