Today . . .
. . . there are daffodils on our table . . .
. . . and robins on our lawn, because spring is coming to our town soon.
There are also bare shelves in the pasta aisle . . .
. . . the soup aisle . . .
. . . and the dairy aisle, because the coronavirus is probably coming to our town soon too.  This week, the governor declared a state of emergency as the number of confirmed cases in Massachusetts jumped from a couple dozen to over a 100, most of them connected with the Biogen conference in Boston last month.  I'm so glad I stocked up on toilet paper last week; there's nothing on that aisle today except tumbleweeds.
