These are some things I saw this week that made me happy:
A many-petaled camellia (at least I think it's a camellia)
Portuguese lavender
Red and white cyclamens
And a sweet little girl with a bow in her hair.

About our blog
Before Joy, our first child, was born, we decided that since she'd be the first grandchild on both sides of the family, we'd better figure out some way that we could keep our families up to date with news and pictures. Thus, our family blog was born, and we've found it's a lot of fun to record our family's milestones and day-to-day silliness. Enjoy!

Wow! Look at those beautiful flowers! I can't wait to see you this weekend! I feel sad that Joy isn't going to come, I was so looking forward to seeing her a little more grown up and get to know her a little bit. Oh well, I'll have to wait until we come and visit again. See you soon!

I can't wait to get our flowers going here. Lauren is anxious to help. We have to wait till we have money again. Joy is going to very beautiful when she grows up.
