Most of the trees and bushes around here . . .
. . . have figured out that it's fall . . .
. . . but some are a little confused.
Maybe the sunny side of this tree stays so warm
that it doesn't think autumn has arrived yet.
And perhaps this rhododendron has a handful of blossoms
because it hopes the pleasant weather means spring is here.
Rhododendron: "Oh! Oh! I think it's spring!"
Neighboring Bush: "Nope, it's fall, sweetie. Just go to sleep."
And this tree . . . well . . . I don't know what's going on there,
but I'm sure it'll figure things out eventually.
