Our parakeet Tia somehow loosened her metal leg band
and then got her back toe caught in it . . .
. . . so our little spare cage . . .
. . . acted as a birdie ambulance today
as I drove Tia to three different animal hospitals
before finding one that was able to help her.
They got the band off and Tia suffered no serious injuries . . .
. . . so I was able to relax and enjoy some vet humor
before starting the hour-long drive home.
