Construction, Demolition, and Adopting a Party

We had some frosting left over from dessert last night . . .

. . . so Joy decided to build a graham cracker gingerbread house.

It turned out pretty well.

Then she smashed it with a hammer . . .

. . . and we gobbled it up.  The end.

In other news, Todd got tired of having some of his Conference sheet topics (like pioneers and Word of Wisdom) rarely get mentioned, so asked to write his own topics on a blank sheet.  I think he fared about the same numerically, but at least he felt he had more control over the situation.

Between sessions, we had some friends over for a pot luck.  Another family originally organized the gathering, but then their son got sick and they had to cancel, so Phillip suggested that we just move the party to our place.  We set up the pot luck table in our garage because there was a chance of rain, but the clouds cleared up and we all had a nice time.
