Today, I'm posting some of the girls' recent creative projects.
Our ELA book asked the younger kids to write poems about getting up in the morning. Todd isn't a fan of poetry, so he kept his poem as short as possible, but Anna embraced the challenge with gusto. She even added a nice illustration, for good measure.
This drawing is Joy's response to a recent Highlights magazine, which invited readers to imagine what their pets do while we're asleep. Joy thinks her hamster's nocturnal activities are much more exciting than he lets on.
