Parents are invited to attend Valentine's Day parties at our kids' school, so Todd and I went to three different parties today.
Our first stop was Anna's class, where we watched the kids use conversation hearts to do a sorting assignment. Anna was too focused on finishing her schoolwork to dig into all of the party-related sugar next to her. I admire her dedication.
Todd was a different story (Valentine cookie! Nom, nom, nom!).
Next we visited Daniel's class party, which had cookies AND candy.
Our last stop was Joy's class. After eating tons of sugar today . . .
. . . Todd was very grateful that our last party offered strawberries in addition to the usual sweet treats.
