"Mama"

Daddy has had his very his own Joy word ("Dee!") for months now, whereas I have had to content myself with being pointed and grunted at. Recently, though, our little girl has finally begun to use the word "Mama" consistently. I would be thrilled if it weren't for the fact that whenever Joy says "Mama," she's referring to . . .

. . . her stuffed bunny. Joke's on you, Mom!

Classic. I'd take it anyway...I love when their language really takes off. It is so fun!

Oh that's funny. I'm sorry though, I can't wait for the day when I walk in her room and she doesn't say "daddy". Someday we will have a name.

HAHA!! ... oh i mean, sorry! it's such a fun stage ... aidan has new words everyday, recently he's picked up "awesome" which totally cracks us up, so we thoroughly encourage it.
