Service in the Cemetery

Joy wanted to perform some sort of service this summer . . .

. . . so she decided to photograph headstones for BillionGraves,
a family history site that helps people find information about their ancestors.

I went along with Joy to take some of the pictures,
and it was interesting to see the personal touches on some of the headstones.
Like this child's grave that someone placed some toys on . . .

. . . or this sweet inscription that made me think of my dad,
who passed away a few years ago:

Our family Chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same;
but as God calls us one by one
the Chain will link again.
