Today was Joy's very last day as a kindergartner.
She's had a lot of fun with Mrs. Haines this year.
At home this evening, we celebrated the beginning of summer vacation with a fantabulous homemade cake (with sprinkles!). I'm not sure why I felt compelled to post a picture of it, since my other baked goods turn out so much better than my cakes do, but for some reason a frosted cake (even a rudimentary, single-layer one) feels like more of an achievement than a loaf of bread or batch of cookies.
