While we're grateful for all the much-needed rain we received last week . . .
. . . we're glad the sun came back out so we could head to the playground for some fresh air.
Joy even met some new buddies who took great interest in her.
Ever the trend-setter, Joy inspired her new little friend to put her hat on, too.

isn't it great? we were at the park for 2 hours yesterday. aidan and some other friends were playing on the slide and crawling/walking through the sand (he only tried to eat it once, hehe!) it was great! we love the park!
the park...the park...
every thursday is hannah's short day atkindergarten...so, off we head to the park. they get covered in dirt...scream like banshees...always persuade mom to go down theslide too...and get snacks everywhere...ah! the freedom of an open environment.
last thurs we stayed 3 hours...nothing pressing at home, the kids are just too persuasive.
and the amazing part? kids always make friends! they just love meetingnew people and trying new things and the otherstuff doesn'tmatter...they relax, and mom keeps a sharpwatchful eye open...
