We want to start involving Joy more in our Family Home Evenings each Monday, so tonight we tried to come up with a baby-friendly activity and lesson. Our solution?
Mama and Daddy took turns building towers out of blocks . . .
. . . so Joy could knock them down.
"Daddy, this tower doesn't stand a chance."
Looks like our polka-dotted wrecking crew is a little worn out.
Daddy closed home evening by reading "My Little Book About Jesus" for our "lesson."
block tower demolition is still a favorite around our house...and mine are older than yours! there's something about destruction (without injury) that is just so fascinating.well, to a child anyway, when i build something i want it to last for at least alittle while.

About our blog
Before Joy, our first child, was born, we decided that since she'd be the first grandchild on both sides of the family, we'd better figure out some way that we could keep our families up to date with news and pictures. Thus, our family blog was born, and we've found it's a lot of fun to record our family's milestones and day-to-day silliness. Enjoy!

That's the best way. Also any games that are her age level. We love peek a boo blocks.
Have I ever mentioned how much I like your family? I LIKE your family!
Kudos.
Thanks, Beth. We like you, too. :)
