We're a week into February, and I've decided that it's time to change up our decor.
I put away our winter garland (fun fact: some of those pinecones came from our yard) . . .
. . . but I kept Dusty the Snowman on the mantle because his red vest and outstretched arms just seem to say "Be My Valentine!"
I also hung a pretty Valentine wreath on our pantry, 'cuz seasonal wreaths make me happy.
The view outside is changing too. We still have blue jays and juncos, but we've also started seeing sparrows on our patio for the first time in months. Maybe that means spring is right around the corner.
Hey, I can hope.
