On their second day of winter break,
Joy and Anna asked if we could ride the subway into Boston.
The boys opted to stay home while we girls went on an adventure
to Alewife Station . . .
. . . and across the Charles River . . .
. . . to Boston Common.
We spent a little time in the Chinatown Branch
of the Boston Public Library,
before buying food at a cafe
and then catching the train back to Alewife.
We had a great time exploring new places . . .
. . . and pondering deep questions like,
"Why is this sidewalk hollow?"
and
"Why does anyone need to warn drivers not to park on sidewalk???"
I know it's hard to find a parking spot in Boston,
but really now.
