Daniel and I played Golf with Todd this evening.
For the first four rounds, we beat Todd so badly it was almost embarrassing. The poor little kid took more points than both his opponents combined. It hardly seemed fair.
Just when I thought we should start going easier on him, the tide turned dramatically. All of a sudden, Daniel and I were taking points like nobody's business while Todd sailed through each round with hardly a scratch. In the end, he beat us both handily. Was it pure coincidence, or did that cute little first grader lull us into a false sense of security before unleashing a foolproof strategy that his elders utterly failed to block or replicate?
Either way, you should proceed with caution when you're playing cards with Todd. You've been warned.
