At the Silent Playground

Anna asked to go to the park today, so for the first time since March . . .

. . .  the three younger kids and I headed to our favorite playground.  We found it open, but deserted.

It felt eerie--almost post-apocalyptic--to watch my kids playing on a silent playground . . .

. . . swinging on a swing set where all the other swings hung empty and still.

The kids had a really good time though.

Parks are still fun, even when they're quiet . . .

. . . and your sibs are the only kids there to play with.

And hey, it was kind of nice that they never had to wait their turn to use the best slide. :)
