First Snowfall

We got our first snowfall of the season last night.

Humans: "Ooo, pretty!"

Plants: "Shiver, shiver, shiver . . . wake us up in April."

Chickens who hatched last March and spent most of spring in our living room: 

"WHAT IS THAT STUFF?!?"
