Today is the first day of Chinese New Year, so I did a little internet research then served up a dinner that will bring us good fortune in the new year. Or something like that.
Dinner included pork fried rice, red smoothies, and an even number of mandarins. Oh yeah, and scrambled eggs for Daniel, who has not yet discovered that fried rice is awesome.
Joy and I also made some festive decorations, because red brings good luck and cutting paper is fun.

About our blog
Before Joy, our first child, was born, we decided that since she'd be the first grandchild on both sides of the family, we'd better figure out some way that we could keep our families up to date with news and pictures. Thus, our family blog was born, and we've found it's a lot of fun to record our family's milestones and day-to-day silliness. Enjoy!
