We had a great time at the ward's early Cinco de Mayo party today, but the only half-decent picture I snapped was of Joy savoring her favorite item on the menu . . .
. . . chips, chips, and more chips.
Too bad I didn't get a picture of her baptizing my new shoes with horchata. Of course, since they weren't fully immersed it didn't really count. Maybe we'll try again when they're eight years old.
Her eyes have been a lovely, deep brown for a few months now. Funny - earlier today I saw a picture of her back when they were blue and I thought, "Oh yeah - I forgot they used to be totally different color."

About our blog
Before Joy, our first child, was born, we decided that since she'd be the first grandchild on both sides of the family, we'd better figure out some way that we could keep our families up to date with news and pictures. Thus, our family blog was born, and we've found it's a lot of fun to record our family's milestones and day-to-day silliness. Enjoy!
