We want to start involving Joy more in our Family Home Evenings each Monday, so tonight we tried to come up with a baby-friendly activity and lesson. Our solution?

Mama and Daddy took turns building towers out of blocks . . .

. . . so Joy could knock them down.

"Daddy, this tower doesn't stand a chance."

Looks like our polka-dotted wrecking crew is a little worn out.

Daddy closed home evening by reading "My Little Book About Jesus" for our "lesson."
That's the best way. Also any games that are her age level. We love peek a boo blocks.
ReplyDeleteHave I ever mentioned how much I like your family? I LIKE your family!
ReplyDeleteKudos.
Thanks, Beth. We like you, too. :)
ReplyDeleteblock tower demolition is still a favorite around our house...and mine are older than yours! there's something about destruction (without injury) that is just so fascinating.well, to a child anyway, when i build something i want it to last for at least alittle while.
