Dry Pool Humor

It's a balmy 62 degrees out, so Joy decided to head out to the pool and work on her tan. She's such a big girl that I told her she could play in the pool on her own . . .


. . . at least until they finish filling it back up with water.* Remember, Joy - no diving allowed.


*Apparently you're supposed to drain and refill a pool every five years or so. Otherwise the water gets hard and the chlorine doesn't work as effectively.

    I've lived here for seven years, and it is the FIRST time they have drained the pool. A little overdue, I think. :)
    Glad to see someone enjoyed the empty pool.

    I can't believe that she would keep the sunglasses on! Does she like to dress up?? Carter won't even keep a hat on, let alone a coat.

    Joy isn't hugely into dressing up, but she does let me put hats on her when we go walking.

    The sunglasses are hit and miss. Sometimes she takes them off, other times she leaves them alone (probably because she forgets they're there).
