ReplyDeleteI never appreciated before just how wise The Very Hungry Caterpillar is. (Although, truth be told, I think the meal would be fine if you stuck with just the cake, pickles and lollipop. Who wants salami anyway?)
ReplyDeleteActually, I think it was the pickle/lollipop combination that sent him over the edge. The salami was an essential component -you can't have all carbs and no protein, after all.
